NFL Preseason is really starting to get going and other than a few STAR HOLDOUTS, there is actually not a lot of BREAKING NEWS from the NFL over the last week.

According to the Las Vegas Review Journal…Greater Las Vegas Association of Realtors reported the median price for existing single-family homes sold in Southern Nevada through its Multiple Listing Service during June was $290,000. That is down 1.7 percent from the previous month but up 12.7 percent from $257,373 in June 2017. The median price of local condos and townhomes sold in June jumped to $167,000, up 30.5 percent from the same time last year.   Local home prices have been approaching record levels. According to GLVAR, the median price of existing single-family homes sold in Southern Nevada peaked at $315,000 in June 2006. Prices hit a post-recession bottom of $118,000 in January of 2012.

Per CNBC, Southern California home sales hit the brakes in June, falling to the lowest reading for the month in four years. Sales of both new and existing houses and condominiums dropped 11.8 percent year over year, as prices shot up to a record high, according to CoreLogic. The report covers Los Angeles, Riverside, San Diego, Ventura, San Bernardino and Orange counties.  What does this mean for GROWTH in Southern NV…we will see over the next 12-24 months.
